Welcome Home Aaron
I was fortunate to have been invited yesterday to experience a truly patriotic and heart warming event, a return of naval aviators from their 6 month tour overseas. My client and friend Cyndie invited my family and I to experience this awe inspiring and emotional event where the jet airplanes have a commemorative flyin to their hangar on Whidbey Island to celebrate the successful end of their tour. The crowd included many wives, girlfriends and small children anxiously awaiting the safe return of their husbands,boyfriends and fathers. For one baby this was the first time her Daddy got to hold his 4 month old baby girl. (She is the one with the headphones on in the video.)
It was so sweet seeing Aaron’s little 3 year old boy greet him after his long journey running to him with open arms…not missing a beat after their long separation. There were tears of joy and happiness in welcoming these heroes safely back home. Thanks Cyndie and Aaron for letting me be part of this wonderful event and WELCOME HOME !!!!!
(Special thanks to our angel driver who mysteriously found us in the parking lot and drove us to the hanger in the nick of time and the CO’s wonderful wife who made this happen.)
