I always try to work in the environment that my client’s are most comfortable in. In our initial process we discuss whether the session should take place in the studio or on location. I want the surrounding to reflect my client’s personalities and allow that to come out in the session. T. is a city gal and picked the perfect spot for her family’s session: an urban spot off the beat and path, but just footsteps from their home. I just loved working here and with little one’s spunky personality we kept moving frequently which allowed for a lot of different looks and setups.
This first one inside their home just captured her amazing eyes with nice backlighting. Mom and Dad were great in keeping our 2 year wonder entertained throughout our time. Daddy did some kid tossing ( a fave of mine) and then we all even did a little jog on the path….love it. No high heels for me on 2 year old portrait day, …aka sports photography. Thanks T.
