We’ve had a bit more rain in the northwest this month. Undaunted by cloudy weather last night, the family session went forward and we had amazing portraits. You really have to celebrate the northwest: rain and all to become a true Seattle Child Portrait Photographer. Granted I can’t really shoot during a downpour because my camera and lighting equipment would get fried (although I have tried it), you have to be creative when scheduling and shooting here anytime outside of those 32 days of sunshine.
In the northwest’s favor, the clouds really are like a giant softbox in the sky, providing smoother lighting than any sunstreaked day. Their family portrait was truly spectacular. Here are a couple of images of the boys and their friendly creatures from last night’s session.
